MonetCam Privacy Policy

Information we handle

• Camera images, photos and videos. The camera preview, the photos you take and the videos you record or choose from your library are turned into painting styles by a model that runs on your device. The App does not upload them to our servers. Videos recorded with the App's camera have no sound.
• Results. A result stays on your device unless you save it to your photo library or share it.
• Usage and device data. App version, operating system, device model, events such as switching painting styles, choosing a video and starting or stopping a recording, and crash and performance data.
• Advertising data. Advertising identifier, approximate location and ad interaction and diagnostic data handled by Google AdMob (see "Ads and tracking choices").
• Support information. What you send us by email.
• This website counts clicks on its buttons in a way that does not identify you (no cookies are used).

How we use it

• To apply painting styles to your camera images, photos and videos on your device.
• To show ads that keep the App free.
• To understand how the App is used, fix crashes and improve quality.
• To prevent abuse and answer your inquiries.

Who receives information

Providers handle data under their own policies.

• Google. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics; AdMob for ads. The App may also download its display font (Neuton) from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address with that request.

Ads and tracking choices

The App shows banner and full-screen ads from Google AdMob.

On iOS the App asks for permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency; you can change it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.

Retention and deletion

The App has no account and does not send your photos or videos to our servers, so there is nothing of that kind for us to delete. Data on your device stays until you delete the App or its data; photos and videos you saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them. Analytics and advertising providers keep their own records under their policies. For questions or requests, email support@satoapps.com.

Children

MonetCam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided some, contact us and we will delete it.

Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

• Controller: Sato Apps (Japan), support@satoapps.com.
• Legal bases: providing the features you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); analytics, crash diagnostics and security by legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); advertising that keeps the App free by legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), or by consent where you are asked for it.
• Transfers: data is processed in Japan, the United States and other countries by the providers named in this policy, under safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
• Retention: data kept by analytics and advertising providers follows their policies; we do not keep your photos or videos.
• Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, by email; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or the services it uses change. The updated policy applies from the date it is posted on this page.
